Cookie Policy

ART. 1 - Use of cookies

1.1 Information: Cookies are used for different purposes. Cookies allow users to be recognised as a unique user when they visit different pages of a site, different sites or when they use apps. The types of information we collect through cookies include IP address; device ID; pages visited; browser type; navigation data; operating system; internet service provider; time stamp; referring URL; functions used and activities performed within the websites/apps. Cookies cannot run programs or transmit viruses to the user's device. They aim to make the website more user-friendly and efficient overall. We also use cookies to identify the user on subsequent visits and for marketing applications, subject to their express consent. This website uses the following types of cookies, the purpose and function of which are explained below:

1.2 Temporary cookies: These cookies are automatically deleted when the user closes their browser. Session cookies belong to this category. They save a “session ID” with which different requests from the user’s browser can be assigned to the joint session. This allows the user’s device to be recognised again when they return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when the user leaves or closes their browser.

1.3 Persistent cookies: These cookies are automatically deleted after a set duration which may vary depending on the cookie. The user can delete cookies via the security settings of their browser at any time.

1.4 Blocking cookies: The User can configure the browser and app settings according to his/her preferences and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. The User is advised that in this case he/she may not be able to use all functions of the website.

1.5 Legal bases and storage period: The legal bases for the possible processing of personally identifiable information and its storage period vary from case to case and are described in the following sections.

ART. 2 - Analysis

2.1 Information: For the purpose of analysing and optimising our websites, we use the various services described below. This enables us to analyse, for example, how many users visit our site, what information is most requested and how users find the website. The data we collect include the websites from which the user arrives at another website ('referrers'), which subpages of the website they access and how often, and the length of time for which they view a subpage. In this way we are able to develop and improve our website to make it more user-friendly. The data collected is not used to personally identify individual users. Anonymous or pseudonymised data will be collected.

ART. 3 - Google Analytics

3.1 Information: This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Inc (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, United States). This use covers the operating mode of Universal Analytics. This makes it possible to assign data, sessions and interactions on multiple devices to a pseudonymised user ID and thus analyse a user's activities on all devices. Google Analytics uses cookies to analyse the user’s use of the website. The information generated by the cookie through the user’s use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, however, the user’s IP address will be truncated in advance in member states of the European Union or other contracting states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional circumstances will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated thereafter. The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be combined with other Google data. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating the user’s use of the website in order to compile reports on website activity and other services relating to website activity and internet usage for the website operator. Our legitimate interest in data processing is also justified for these purposes. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Data sent by us and linked to cookies, user information (such as user ID) and promotional IDs are deleted after 14 months after the last use of our services. Data whose storage period has expired are automatically deleted once a month. Further information on terms and conditions of use and data protection can be found at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/it.html e https://policies.google.com/?hl=it.

3.2 The user can prevent the saving of cookies through a corresponding setting in their browser software; however, please note that by doing this the user may not be able to use the full functionality of the website. The user can also prevent the data generated by the cookie and relating to their use of the website (including your IP address) from being collected and processed by Google by downloading and installing the add-on found at the link below. Disabling cookies prevents the future collection of the user’s data when visiting this website. (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=it).
